First attempt of magazine cover

This was my first attempt at creating my magazine cover, although I liked the main image it was too dull to be on the front page and did not catch the readers attention like I wanted it to. Also I did not like how the writing in the bottom right corner looked as though it was being faded away and you could not really see it very well. I liked my title and the slogan underneath it as nobody else has ever had it and it attracts the unique audience that I wanted so I kept these for my final magazine cover. The barcode was also too big and the writing above it with the information on the date and price was also too big and took too much attention away from the rest of the magazine. Also the images in the top left corner were too big and overall my magazine looked too crowded.

To get the type of text in the bottom right corner of the cover you simply go on to Photoshop type the text you want, after this you select your text and go to your tool bar to the right and select the tool 'outer glow' which is highlighted below.
