I have chosen to analyse this Kerrang cover as it is the same type of music magazine I want to create which is an indie/rock magazine. I chose this cover as my magazine will be aimed at the the younger generation of females such as 14-20 who are interested in indie music and this cover is aimed at that audience as well which is shown by the strong image of the singer hayley williams who is well known making that audience want to buy it. I also like the banner accross the bottom with the extra infromation just listed in short phrases instead of detail which makes people want to read in to it. Although I do not like the two images in the lower left corner i think they could have chosen stronger poses for the images. If I were to take something from this it would be the strong image above as it catches your attention and would attract the type of audiencei want.
